Touba Ta'awun of North Texas ("we," "us," "our," or "the committee") respects the privacy of everyone who visits this website or submits information to us. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we collect it, where it's stored, and how you can ask us to correct or delete it.

What We Collect

We only collect what you choose to give us through the forms on this site. We don't use tracking cookies, and we don't collect anything automatically beyond standard web server logs.

Membership Registration

When you register as a member, we collect:

• Required: full name, phone number, email address, and membership type (Individual, Family, Student, or Supporter)
• Optional: date of birth, street address, city, state, and ZIP code

We use this information to issue your Membership ID, keep a record of active members, and track dues status. We do not require optional fields — you can leave date of birth or address blank and still register.

Contact Form

When you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, the topic you selected, your message, and your phone number if you choose to provide one. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.

What We Don't Collect

We never ask for Social Security numbers, passwords, or payment card details through this website. Contributions made via Zelle or Cash App happen entirely on those platforms — we only see that a gift was made and the amount you choose to share with us, never your banking credentials. Zelle and Cash App have their own privacy policies that govern how they handle your information.

Where Your Information Lives

Submissions are stored in a private database that only committee administrators can access, through a password-protected admin portal. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or unrelated third parties. We don't use it for marketing outside of committee communications about Touba Ta'awun of North Texas itself.

Who Can See It

Only committee members with an admin login can view registration and contact submissions. Each admin account is protected by a hashed password — we never store passwords in plain text.

Children's Information

Our Family membership type is meant for households, which may include minors. If you're registering on behalf of a child or other family member, please do so as their parent or guardian rather than having them submit the form directly.

Your Choices

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what information we have on file for you
• Correct information that's wrong or out of date
• Delete your registration or contact history
